In summing up each year's results, the Armenia Securities Exchange (AMX) and the Central Depository of Armenia (CDA) award the most active securities market  participants, the winners in individual categories, the AMX press  service told ArmInfo.  Ameriabank has been awarded the Grand Prix as  the "Best AMX partner". The bank is winner in five other categories  as well. 

ArmInfo. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a EUR 5 million financial support package to Armeconombank in Armenia to facilitate  the private sector's transition to more sustainable, low-carbon and  climate-resilient practices. 

ArmInfo. On December 13, Ardshinbank will put up for sale the next tranche of registered, coupon, non-documentary AMD bonds in the amount of 15 billion AMD.   According to the issue prospectus posted on the Central Bank's  website, the primary placement of the dram tranche is expected to be  completed on February 14, 2022.

ArmInfo. In January - September 2021, the banking system of Armenia sent 40.9 billion drams or $ 84.5 million to the state treasury through taxes, which is 7.6%  more than a year ago.

The share of drams in the implementation of projects in Armenia will grow dramatically. Chairman of the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank  (EDB) Nikolay Podguzov said at the ceremony of signing an agreement  on the provision of a credit line for $ 20 million to one of the  largest banks in Armenia, Ardshinbank,  answering ArmInfo's question  about <the state of the Armenian dram in the Bank's loan portfolio>.

ArmInfo. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB)  provided Ardshinbank with a credit line in the amount of $ 20 million  for a period of 3 years to provide financial support to the small and  medium-sized business sector of Armenia (SME). The corresponding  agreement was signed on September 7 by Nikolay Podguzov, Chairman of  the Management Board of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), and  Artak Ananyan, Chairman of the Management Board at Ardshinbank.

ArmInfo. Users of the Russian Fora-Bank mobile application can now transfer money from their mobile phone to Ardshinbank customers’ current or card account. To make a transfer, it is enough to know only the transfer recipient’s phone number.

ArmInfo.In the first half of 2021, the banking system of Armenia sent over 30 billion drams or $ 60.6 million to the state treasury through taxes, which is 19.4% more  than a year ago. Of this amount, over 85.9% or 25.8 billion drams was  paid under direct taxes (including income tax and tax on profit),  with an increase of 13.4% over the year. According to the data of the  RA State Revenue Committee, in the total volume of payments of 1000  large taxpayers in Armenia, 17 banks account for 5.1%.

ArmInfo.. The banking system in Armenia is sound and  well-regulated, but the financial sector is not highly developed,  according to investors. Banking sector assets account for over 80  percent of total financial sector assets. This is stated in the  published report of the US State Department on the investment climate  in Armenia for 2021.

ArmInfo.Ardshinbank has attracted $20 million in loans from The Global Climate Partnership Fund (GCPF).  The funds raised will be used to increase credit investments in energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, mostly for solar panels financing. The sub-loans can be typically addressed to households, SMEs, large corporations as well as municipal entities.

ArmInfo.Ardshinbank and Visa international payment system extend the card-to-card money transfers campaign for a month. In addition, they have improved the conditions offered to the winners.
