ArmInfo. The Fund of Economic Development of Rural Territories of Armenia implemented co-financing of 4 investment programs in the amount of 500 million AMD during 2017. The programs have been implemented in the areas of processing of agricultural products, fish farming and cardboard production. This was reported to Prime Minister Karen Karapetian on the eve of a meeting of the Board of Trustees in the government of Armenia.
According to the press service of the Government, the Council first introduced amendments and additions to the Fund's charter, then discussed and approved the report on the implementation of activities stipulated by the Fund's work program for 2016-2017, the report on the final results of monitoring conducted in 2016- 2017. in the client companies of the fund, presented by the organization that conducts an independent audit of the financial and economic activities of the fund for the year 2016, financial reports and an independent audit report, reports on the implementation of the Fund's budgets for 2016-2017.
It was reported that the Council also approved the draft program of work of the Fund for the Economic Development of Rural Areas of Armenia for 2018, which is planned this year to co-finance the development programs of four companies in the amount of 600 million AMD. During the meeting, other issues related to improving the efficiency of the fund's activities were also discussed. Prime Minister Karapetyan instructed to discuss and submit relevant proposals in this direction.
